The boxing champ and rapper had a brawl on the Las Vegas Strip early Sunday morning. Now, Mayweather speaks out about what went down. 'You do it in the ring. I do it in the streets,' T.I. said according to Mayweather. The boxer was reportedly jolted by T.I.'s aggressive approach at a Fatburger on the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday morning, reports TMZ.
The showdown, that included flying chairs and an exchange of blows between the rapper and boxing champ, was supposedly sparked by an Instagram photo posted by the "Rubber Band Man" rapper's wife, Tameka (Tiny) Cottle, on May 5.
"You already know!!!" she wrote. "There's nothing like being surrounded by 'THE BEST EVER!!! Champion s--t @floydmayweather @thatshekinah @thereallraye1 & @ikitchie #teammayweather"
"I been knowing Tiny before T.I.," the 37-year-old fighter told celeb blogger Necole Bitchie in a phone interview, via Complex magazine, after the brawl. "I've never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way. Her friend Shekinah wanted to come to the (May 4th) fight, she brought Tiny with her. They came to the fight."
Mayweather told the site that Sunday morning's fight was not the first time T.I. approached him about the photo. Despite how out of hand things became, Mayweather did offer an apology to Tiny for telling T.I. to "control your b--ch" during the altercation. "I don't want to say that about Tiny," he said. "So I do apologize to Tiny because she cool people. She never been disrespectful to me."
A representative for T.I. has not respond to the comment…..yet.
