Joan Rivers‘ daughter, Melissa said goodbye by kissing her casket outside Frank E. Campbell funeral home shortly before her mom’s body was transported to a crematorium in New Jersey on Saturday, according to Page Six.
A team of pallbearers carried the coffin to the hearse. Fighting back tears, Melissa then turned to her son, Cooper and touched him tenderly on the cheek before the hearse pulled away.
About a half hour later, drivers were seen unloaded the casket at the Garden State Crematory in Union City, where Rivers’ body will be cremated before her funeral at Temple Emanu-El on Sunday.
