In the accompanying interview for the mag’s issue dubbed “Help our female veterans!” the First Lady talked about the importance of education
“I have been promoting education period, because that is the way the world is going. On the other hand, veterans shouldn’t have to wait for a job. So one of our biggest challenges is, how do you take so many years of on-the-ground experience and compare that with a degree that may have nothing to do with the work?” the 50-year-old said
On her plans after leaving the White House, she said:
“I want to continue to lift up these stories so that the country doesn’t forget. And my hope is that whoever lives in this White House in the coming years will find a way to continue these efforts [and make them] a permanent part of the government role. We believe that efforts of Joining Forces should last far beyond this administration; that, you know the spotlight we put on these families, these issues and our services members should be something that we do forever and across party lines.”
What would she say if her daughters Sasha and Malia wanted to join the military?
“I would support them in whatever they chose to do and I be honored to be a proud Blue Star mom," she said:

Earlier this month, Michelle Obama called a photo agency and got it to take down pics of her daughter after paparazzi photographed Malia walking into a restaurant but she couldn’t prevent this photo from being published online.
A concertgoer took the pic of Michelle and her daughters, Malia and Sasha at #Beyonce and #JayZ's concert last night at Soldier Field in Chicago and later shared it on Instagram.
This goes to show that #thewhitehouse can’t really protect the girls from public spotlight all the time…unless they ban camera phones at concerts.
The National Enquirer is calling for the impeachment of President Obama for being "inappropriate" with a young woman. Alex Dooley, 23, a college graduate, was introduced to President Barack Obama at a speech in Denver, Colorado on July 9 but as she was thanking him for talking about raising the minimum wage, Obama’s eyes wandered all the way down the Alex Dooley’s dress.

“In a heartless slap in the face to wife #MichelleObama, President Obama has been photographed looking down the top of a young woman's dress - and shocking onlookers are calling him "a perv." . . .

Malia Obama has been doing an internship on Halle Berry’s TV show for the last few weeks and she was photographed with a pal as they left a trendy L.A. restaurant on Monday night. But when the White House found out about the pics, they went into combat mode to destroy the photos.
The photog who took the pics had already sent them to the AKM-GSI agency to sell and the agency displayed the pics on its website for the media to buy but several hours later, The First Lady's Office called AKM-GSI and asked for the pics to be taken down and all copies deleted, according to TMZ.
Apparently, #MichelleObama’s people told the agency they had been promised by several media outlets that the girls would not be photographed without their dad being present. So AKM-GSI sent an email to the media with the subject, "URGENT SET KILL NOTICE," and a message that read:
"Please delete the set of Malia Obama from your archive. The set was sent around earlier today. We cannot distribute this set."
