Oprah Winfrey’s known for her generosity but her lucky maids get even more generous gifts every month from her. Sources told RadarOnline that the billionaire was recently spotted shopping and splashing out on gifts for her housekeepers in the Santa Barbara, Calif.
“We heard a loud voice towards the entrance of the store say ‘Alright ladies! You have two minutes! Grab whatever you can! Two minutes!'” eyewitness Carlos Galdamez told Radar. "I looked over to see who it was and walking towards us is freaking Oprah! She looked straight at me and said ‘hi!’” added Galdamez.
“She handed her credit card to the lady behind the register and let her know that she would be paying for whatever the ladies wanted."
“She must have been spending thousands and thousands of dollars!. And this wasn’t just a one-time thing – or at one store. I heard one of the ladies with Oprah speaking Spanish so I asked her in Spanish ‘Excuse me, what’s going on?’” he said.
“She told me they were Oprah’s housekeepers and that once a month Oprah would take them down State Street in a limo, go shopping, and she’d pay for everything! Mind you that when I look at the very humble looking housekeeper, in her hand she is carrying a Prada bag!”

A customer who claims his Oprah Winfrey's Chai tea was spiked with a heavy dose of heroin has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Oprah and Starbucks for discrimination and harassment, TMZ reports.
According to the lawsuit Vernon Charles Allen Merriweather claims he bought Oprah’s signature tea at Starbucks in Buffalo, New York, last fall, only to find out that staff had laced it with hallucinogenic, heroin and Ambien.
Merriweather, who previously applied for a job at Starbucks, also claims he was told: "We don't hire niggers." The problem is, the tea was allegedly spiked 6 months BEFORE Oprah Chai tea even debuted! Lol, can you see where this is going?
Merriweather is now suing Oprah, Starbucks and two members of its staff in Buffalo for discrimination and harassment. He’s demanding that they should be ordered to take diversity training classes, in addition to his $15 million demand.
“It appeared to Oprah that Michelle was jealous of her, furious that Barack was seeking her advice instead of Michelle's,” a source close to Winfrey told Klein.
“For her part, Oprah didn't like being with Michelle, because the first lady was constantly one-upping the president and anybody else around her. Even when the Obamas think they are being charming, they hold you at arm’s length."
